Introduced in 1926, this reproducer was designed to allow playing of Orthophonic recordings on earlier machines. It isn't often seen, as apparently few Victrolas were retrofitted for the new electrical records. Like most Victrola No. 4 reproducers, this 4A was made out of pot metal. Unlike most, it isn't badly crumbling and still produces loud sound. This item has been sold. Please contact us - we may be able to find you another.
