Very rare, very beautiful, very desirable unrestored rear mount Grand Opera Zonophone.
This machine dates ca 1905, at the time when Victor owned Zonophone.
Machine is complete and all original. Cabinet has great old dark varnish and original Zonophone decal.
Motor is the proper triple spring Zonophone motor, and is taking tension and running.
Back bracket is very clean, with very nice paint, decal and nickel plating.
Should be an easy restoration. The original brake is not holding in place (can't figure out why). Someone replaced the crankhole escutcheon at one time (again can't figure out why), but the original hole is not damaged.
There is a little splitting in the motor board veneer, old needle scratch on the motorboard (see images).
The all brass Zonophone horn is approximately 16 inches long with a 13.5 inch bell, very clean, no dents, dings or damage to talk about.
