Columbia BN With Nickel Horn for sale

This improved version of Columbia's Disc Graphophone Type BN was introduced in 1908. The very desirable nickel horn was optional at extra cost.

This BN was fitted with a double spring motor for extended playing time, making it a competitor to a machine such as a Victor II or Victor III in the Victor catalogue.

This example is all original, and has exceptionally handsome original golden oak finish with colorful decals. The nickel plated horn is in very good condition, no dents or dings.

I have cleaned out the gearing on this machine, cleaned and polished the governor shaft, and re-packed the mainsprings with new grease. I have also rebuilt the reproducer, replacing the old dried out gaskets in order to yield maximum original sound.

Everything is now working properly, and this BN not only looks great, but is playing as it should as well.
