Victrola XVIII
$3250
Victor's finest, fanciest, and most expensive machine, the Victrola XVIII. Dating to 1915, the Victrola XVIII's beautiful serpentine cabinet and fine veneer work have long made it a favorite of collectors. This example is just the way you love to find them, in nice untouched original condition -- clean it, polish it, rub it, leave it alone, do with it what you want. There's a little typical weathering of the finish, and a few scratches and alligatoring on the lid, most of which will clean up when you polish it. There's a little weathering of the gold plating on the U-tube of the tone arm, one minuscule wood sliver off a rear pilaster, and one wood button off the rear. Yes, I know all this stuff is minor but I want you to know. You can look at the pictures to see how nice this actually is. The motor appears to working properly, and the machine comes with a gold-plated Exhibition reproducer. The ultimate Victrola. $3250
