Victor E - incomplete

Victor Type E rear-mount. Something a little more than a parts machine, and restorable, but not quite complete. No crank, horn, or elbow. There is a chunk out of one piece of base molding (see images). The narrow tone arm, special to the Victor E and Victor I, has polished out nicely, and the back bracket has typical age darkening and murkiness but you can still see the decals. The case should probably be refinished. The ratchet and pawl assembly doesn't want to hold -- could be it needs cleaning or it might have to be squeezed a little together and reshaped. However, when I force the pawl into place the motor holds tension and does take off. Very useful for the arm, bracket, pillars, turntable and motor. If you have a case, or can do a little woodworking, this would be an easy project. $600
