Edison Standard Phonograph with morning glory horn

This Edison Standard Phonograph would have been manufactured between around 1904-1909. It is a very strong, original finish, original decal machine with a beautiful blue morning glory horn with hand-painted flowers. The details and pinstriping on the bedplate are quite nice, as you can see in the images.

I invite you to compare this machine with any Edison phonograph on ebay or some other venue. Once you do, you will not want to purchase the ebay phonograph. This cylinder Edison has been almost completely taken apart, cleaned, adjusted, lubricated, and put back together, both the upperworks and the motor. The spring is very strong, and the motor has been rebelted and adjusted to run as smoothly and quietly as possible. It has an excellent, original Model C two minute reproducer.

The horn, which is approximately 26 inches long with a 19 inch bell, is supported by a reproduction crane of our own manufacture. The horn has some very slight typical creasing on the rims of the petals, and typical weathering on the outside, but is overall much better than average condition and quite spectacular.

The Edison Standard makes an excellent starter phonograph. They are very reliable and easy to get parts for. Price includes three good two minute records. We also have hundreds of records for sale on our website. $850
