Early small brass jeweler's lathe

A small, all brass early jeweler's or watchmaker's lathe. I do not know its exact appication. The piece is beautifully done in brass and walnut with much hand worksmanship. The base is about five and half by seven inches, and the lathe is about nine inches tall. $500
