Harvard 4A case

Empty case for a model 4 Harvard. This an ornate oak case reflective of the Arts and Crafts movement. This model of the Harvard is quite rare -- Harvards were sold by Sears, Roebuck. (See our article Mail order mysteries.The models 3 and 4 Harvard were quite fancy, with the model 4 being the most expensive.

This case is in very good condition with nice original finish. To the best of my knowledge it will accept a standard Columbia double spring motor. Reproduction arms are available from Norman and Janyne Smith.
