Antique Nipper dog

This is an old hard rubber Nipper, approximately eleven inches tall. He has good original paint with just a little flaking on his belly. There is slight damage on the underside of one of his ears -- a small opening has been filled in with some metal; it could easily be filled over with something else and painted to match.The hard rubber Nippers succeeded the papier mache Nippers, probably in the 30s, and are as equally collectable as the papier mache Nippers. This Nipper is guaranteed to be old and original, and not one of the countless reproductions now on the market. $225
