Columbia Grand Five Inch Concert Records for sale

This item has been sold. Please contact us - we may be able to find you another.
Seven 5" Columbia brown wax records in the original boxes. Columbia referred to these as "grand" records; Edison referred to them as "concert" records. These records are about as nice as they come -- I always hesitate to use the word mint, but this group of cylinders is really exceptionally nice and clean, with no mildew or cracks, as close to mint as you are likely to come. I don't have a working five inch machine to play these on, but most of the cylinders came with old little pieces of paper in the boxes giving the title. Of course there's no guarantee that the titles are correct, but these records look well taken care of and loved, and I'd guess that the titles are accurate. If you're still curious bring over your concert machine and we can play them. One of the records wasn't identified, and I can't make out the faded writing on the box.

I don't feel comfortable shipping these, although we've never had FedEx damage anything, so if you can't pick these up let me know where you are and I'll see if I can make arrangements to get them safely to you.

Purchases of two or more cylinders will be discounted by $50 per cylinder, to $300 for each title.
