Early cylinder record cabinet, flush cut
$600
Early cylinder record cabinet, approximately 18" by 15" by 35". (You can tell the cabinet is early because it has locks on all the drawers.) We have had a number of these cabinets over the years, and one side is always cut flush, with no top molding. No one seems to know why, but the theories are that either they were designed go up against a wall, or that they were units that were pushed side-by-side as dealer display. There is a picture of a similar cabinet in Music Machines, America
This example has been partially refinished. There is some new wood at the bottom of some of the drawers. When we received this machine the two top drawers had been hooked together -- we turned this back into two separate drawers, but I haven't had a chance to shoot new photographs, so the photographs show the cabinet as it was. Something different, $600
