Early cylinder record cabinet, flush cut Early cylinder record cabinet, approximately 18" by 15" by 35". (You can tell the cabinet is early because it has locks on all the drawers.) We have had a number of these cabinets over the years, and one side is always cut flush, with no top molding. No one seems to know why, but the theories are that either they were designed go up against a wall, or that they were units that were pushed side-by-side as dealer display.
This example has been partially refinished, and the two top drawers have been hooked together to make one deep drawer. It could be reconstructed, or just use the drawer to store concert records! There is a picture of a similar cabinet in Music Machines, American Style. $650
