Technically Model A machinery, the branded case Gem was sold from 1900-1902.

Edison branded case Gem

Edison Gem upperworks
The upperworks was similar to all two minute Gems, but the carriage housing was slightly different in order to accomodate the special Gem reproducer. Note the two clamp screws at the top and bottom. The neck of the reproducer is missing on this example. Larger image
