Edison Diamond Disc phonograph model B19

Introduced around 1919, this inexpensive machine with single spring motor was one of the few table top Diamond Disc models (most were uprights). The orange maple colored finish seen on most examples was applied over red gum, a lesser wood not much otherwise used by Edison. The B19 was also known as the Chalet.
